Group Therapy
We believe that everyone desires a sense of belonging and connection; to be understood, seen, and accepted by others. And yet, most of us will find ourselves in relationships where we hide parts of ourselves for fear of being misunderstood or rejected. Some of us feel isolated or lonely at times even in a room full of people.
Process Groups
If you would like to have more connecting, authentic, and intimate relationships with others, a process group may be ideal for you. Process groups are one of the most effective ways for people to understand their patterns of relating to others and to begin changing patterns that keep them stuck in relationships that are not as fulfilling, supportive, or authentic as they would like. We see group therapy as a “lab for life.” In the confidential and safe environment of a therapy group, you can try out new ways of being, and for one person who rarely gets angry that could mean verbally expressing their anger when they feel hurt, and for another who defaults to anger, that could mean being able to feel and express the sadness or hurt that underlies their anger. Whatever your relational task, group is a relatively risk-free place to practice new ways of relating to others.
Support Groups
Support groups are often formed around a particular presenting concern or some shared identities. They will enable you to hear different perspectives from other members and to acquire new coping skills. There will likely be less interpersonal processing than process groups, less “here-and-now” interventions that are examining the dynamics of the group.

Healing Connections: Roe v. Wade (Virtual)
Gathering Spaces to Process Roe v. Wade
$40 – $0 Pay What You Can
Register at: tinyurl.com/RoeVWadeConnections
Join us in 4 community spaces to process the Supreme Court’s decision to infringe on our bodily autonomy with the overturn of Roe v. Wade. Abortion access and reproductive freedom not only threaten the lives of those who can become pregnant, but have wide-ranging implications that further target and criminalize poor, Black, and queer/trans people in the United States.
We’re holding space for our mourning, fear, and rage at this decision in community with others. In these facilitated conversations, we will connect with our emotions around this decision and build relationships with others, as we all navigate the post-Roe landscape. We will also provide resources for taking action steps to protect and expand abortion access.
These groups will be caucus spaces centering particular identities due to the difference of experiences that may come up in each group.
Black Women/Femmes: Wednesday, August 10th at 5pm (PST)
